CAMP!


have camp from wed until yest...it was vry vry fun!!!
day1: 11.30am: tent pitching 12.45pm: lunch time! 2pm:briefing for activity[outdoor cooking] bout 2.30pm: half of the grp will start the fire[out in the field], half of the grp wil prepare the food ready to be cooked.... [[i was in the preparation grp:)]] 2pm to 5plus: cut the chicken, make pizza, starting of fire...and bringing out food to the fire place... bout6.30pm: food was cooked...den brought to the olave hall[dining hall]... bout 7pm: collection of dinner and waiting to start dinner... :) after collection of food...ready to do the TIC-TOK cheer...[[tic-tok tic-tok we must eat!1 day 3 meals cannot miss! eat already very fit! teachers eat! trainers eat! everybody eat!]]den start to eat...haha washing of plates after dinner--wash in a pail full of washing detergent den went into the lounge to do the last part of washing[washing untder tap water]]... bout 8plus: went for night walk...~spooky~
night walk: spotting fire flies...learning how to spot spiders from 100m away in the dark using a torch...solo walk...knowing the history of the japanese war cuz the campsite[camp christine, jln bahtera]was near the place wher japanese landed during war...but unfortunately...it started raining...
10plus to 11plus: bathing time! the toilet was crowded and on the ceilings...u cn see lizards~
11plus to bout 12md: bringing canvas to our tent and laying it out on thr ground...
bringing of sleeping bags to our tents: 1 tent is allocated to 10people...but unfortunately my grp has some people hu deosnt want to make space for the rest and ended up miie and my fren has to go to other people tent to share with them...endin up the tent to have 11 people...dat tent was shared by drakon and gryphon..those people in that tent were nice!thank them for their kindness... :)
1.30am: started to rain heavily and the ground water sipped through the canvas and wet our sleeping bags ending wetting ourselves....and have to wake up to move into the shelter...
bout 2.15am: in the lounge preparing to slp...~yawn~
DAY 2
almost everybody woke up at 6...den we wash up...
bout 7am: went to assemble and do the morning exercise[mass dance]...we have to shake our butts for 1 of the action...hahahaha
8plus: breakfast time!again...have to cheer b4 we eat...
9.15am: went to the sea store for briefing of the activity NATURE RUMBLE...
nature rumble: going into the forest and 'exploring'...haha...we were allocated to 1 buddy and has to take care of each othr during the 'trip' tru the forest...
9.45am: ready to start the trip!
the NATURE RUMBLE trip: the route along was very slippery and dangerous...we killed alot of plants cuz we wanna grab for support to prevent ourselves from falling...heehee...for those very slippery and steep 'mini' slope...haha...den ther's wher i noticed teamwork for the 1st tym in my life...regardless of gender, evry1 helped each other to get up the slope...i got up and was ready to help my buddy...my buddy was taller than miie, and 1 of the 2guys standing by the side of the slope[so that they can help immediately when sm1 falls or slip...]helped miie when i nearly fell off while helping my buddy up...den together we helped her up...haha...near the ground of the river, it seemed to be 'sucking' ur foot...and my leg was stucked...i dun have enuff strength to pull my leg out...and cuz i vry scared so i keep holding on to the trainer's arm...haha...den he helped miie to pull my leg out...~phew~ we crossed the river and it started raining and we had no choice but to head back...~sad~ and most people have cuts during the adventure...
10plus: we went for rafting...we have sea confidence trail[[wearing life jacket and floating on the water in a circle...haha...but unfortunately it started raining again...we continued learning how to tie our own raft...but we cant go out to sea cuz the rain started puring vry heavily and had to head back AGAIN!so shit~
bout 12plus: we bathed and had to assemble at the olave hall by 1pm...we rushed lyk siao lox...haha
at bout 2.40: we had to take our poncho and assemble in the field to carry on with the activity...RACE AGAINST TIME...
RACE AGAINST TIME: we have to draw lots to see which activity we r playin...my grp played the RIVER thingy...ther's a rope and u have to use it to cross the 'river' w/o touching the ground...haha...for the 2nd activity, my grp played the CONVEYER BELT...we need 8people to sit on the floor and transport the 'load'[people] from 1 side to the other side...and all the gals in my grp dun wanna be the load...haha...u will be touched by the people transporting you...so the gals and 3guys were the transporter and the rest of the people were the load...and all were GUYS...so wil be heavy...my backbone almost cracked...hahahaha...for the 3rd activity, we played MAGIC CARPET...evry1 needs to stand on the big sheet of 'carpet'[a big big canvas sheet]den needa overturn the carpet to the othr side w/o anyone of the grp members stepping out of the carpet...we spent bout 20plus mins in this station...haha...for the 3rd activity we played LETTER RIVER or smth...ther sponge alphabets on the ground and evry1 of the members have to cross to the othr side blindfolded and w/o stepping on the sponge alphabet...we have to trust our members as they will give us instruction and guide to cross the 'river'...this game, TRUST and CONFIDENT cn be seen...for the 4th activity, we played smth lyk transporting the pail of water out of the circle w/o stepping into the circle...we were given 2ropes and 2 bamboo poles to transport the pail of water out...we spent out of the time limit[30mins]and the time is up and we have to gather together again to sort the points...in the end PEGASUS won...haha...
6plus: back to the olave hall...dinner time! aftr dinner time was the camp fire!
due to bad whether...we cant have camp fire...and in the end the chers and trainers have agreed to have a -indoor camp fire-dat was not real fire...it was kerosene lamp in some firewood...
but we still enjoyed the camp fire...evry1 except some wher HIGH!...evn the teachers dance the chicken dance and do a cat walk!hahahaha!the CL[camp leaders] RAWKX man!they made us enjoy the camp fire and get HIGH...haha...the trainers danced too!hahahahaha...the 2007 DANCING KING and QUEEN were born...haha...
10plus to 11 plus: wash up...
11plus: preparing to slp...dat night, the othr half who slept on the floor cn sleep on the beds!
we went upstairs...and ther were alot of beds...haha...2beds were shared by 3persons...and the upper deck...1bed to 1person...i slept on the lower deck cuz my bestie was sick...so i shared 1 bed with her in order to take care of her...haha...we let the othr gal whom shared the bed with us a bed alone for her...cuz michelle was sick...she dun wanna spread to her...so i shared 1 bed with her...so lights off
DAY 3
morning exercise and strike tents and cleaning up...
we have to clean the tents too...but luckily my grp doesnt have to clean the toilets...haha...
we went back to sch at 12nn...
